The Blonde Ethos

Clairol Nice'n Easy ColourSeal Gloss Conditioner

This is one of my all-time favourite hair conditioners. As I don't have colour treated hair, it would have never occured to me to buy this conditioner but my lovely Nan had a few spares which she kindly gave to me. Luckily, this conditioner is for 'brilliant blondes' (they also have brunette and red versions) so I thought that I may as well give it a whirl. I am so glad that I did!

This ColourSeal Gloss conditioner from Clairol's Nice'n Easy range is intended to be a used as a weekly conditioning treatment after using their hair colours. The tube is handily marked on the side at six points, indicating how much you should use per treatment. Despite having never coloured my hair, this is the first product that I reach for when my hair is in need of some TLC but I will also use it in smaller quantities as a frequent/'regular' conditioner. I can only think of a couple of (slightly more expensive) conditioners which have ever left my hair as incredibly soft as this does.

The conditioner is a lovely thick creamy consistency which applies to the hair very well. It has a lovely warm, slightly sweet scent which I imagine is mainly down to the presence of coconut in the formula. Other lovely ingredients in this conditioner include sweet almond protein and safflower.

As I mentioned, you can find this conditioner within the box of Nice'n Easy hair dyes but it can also be bought separately from as little as 98p for 30ml at Boots.

Have you tried this product before? Does it have the same lovely softening results on coloured hair too?
