Boots Beauty Haul

Natalie4 Comments
I was a bit naughty yesterday and spent a little more than I should have done in Boots. I thought I'd share with you the bits that I purchased and give myself a chance to justify spending £40 on a whim!

The Sanctuary Salt Scrub
I haven't owned a body scrub for quite a long time now. When I was in Barcelona, I tried out a dead sea salt scrub which was fantastic but a little out of my price range. Having heard great things about this product though, I vowed to buy it on my return.

Botanics Body Brush
I have had my eye on this body brush for quite a long time but had refrained from buying it as it's not really an essential and I had been reluctant to part with £6. But, yesterday I had a moment of thinking that as I'm already spending quite a bit, I 'may as well' throw this in too! Does anybody else do this?

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss
This was a bit of a treat. I don't have any other lip glosses any more and figured a girl should own at least one!

Aussie Luscious Long Leave-in Conditioner
Again, something I haven't owned for a while but a definite essential. There are the odd days where I feel that my hair is hard to manage or where I have experimented with a less-than-effective hair conditioner and need to compensate afterwards. Of course there is no better way to do that than with yummy Aussie spray!

Naked Rescue Intensive Care Conditioner
This is my all time favourite conditioner. Despite the fact that I must have close to twenty conditioners (both full size and miniatures) to make my way through, I do feel a bit anxious if a bottle of this hair-miracle isn't on standby.

Naked Rescue Intensive Care Shampoo
I have never used this before but I'd like to try the shampoo which compliments my holy grail of conditioners. As it's made with natural ingredients (and specifically, without SLS) I'd like to try alternating between this and my current shampoo. I find that when I use hair products with harsh chemicals in, even if it doesn't affect my hair too drastically, I do find that it damages my nails and dries out my hands.

Soap & Glory Heel Genius Foot Cream
This is one thing which I can 100% be forgiven for buying as all of the sandal wearing on holiday has left my feet in a very undesirable condition!

I can't wait to try all of these new products and give a full review on each of them.

Boots currently have an AMAZING 3 for 2 mix and match offer across a wide range of products including hair care, hair accessories, indulgent bathing and No7. This offer saved me over £8.00 on the above products.

I've now decided that I should impose a spending ban until the end of November. Partly because I am now a 'poor student' but also because I will need to save some pennies up for The Clothes Show in December. Goody bags; here I come!
I have all of the body products, hair products and makeup that I should need until then.

The only exceptions to this spending restriction are:
- Skincare products: Origins Have A Nice Day Lotion and Origins Never A Dull Moment Exfoliator (although these are on my birthday wish list so fingers crossed!)
- A tote bag to carry my uni bits and pieces
- Some winter wardrobe staples including a jacket, jumper, maxi skirt and a few pieces of suitable footwear.
- Birthday and Christmas presents.
- The odd coffee with the girls.
- Magazines with irresistible freebies!

I will be setting myself a weekly/monthly allowance so that I don't go crazy on the above items!

Have you taken advantage of any offers lately? Or have you been setting a good example with some spending restrictions?
