I think it's fair to say that the Collection (formerly Collection 2000) Lasting Perfection Concealer has reached cult status in the beauty-world and so for a mere £4.19, I just had to give it a whirl. When I sampled the tester in store, I was very surprised to find that that the 'fair' shade really was as advertised! I find that most concealers are too dark or to pink for my skin tone and so actually accentuate my blemishes. This tone is very delicate and looks like it has a slight yellow undertone which is perfect for me. I immediately thought that this would be great as an under eye concealer too due to its light colour and texture, and I wasn't wrong! Remember when using an under eye concealer to blend with your ring-finger or a concealer brush to avoid applying too much pressure to the delicate skin.
The product is a liquid concealer with a doe-foot applicator which makes application very quick and easy. I tend to dab the concealer onto my face where needed and then gently pat with my finger tips to blend. While they claim that this 'provides full coverage for up to 16 hours', I never leave my make up on for this long. I agree though that it is long lasting and very durable. I would consider this to be a fairly thick consistency as it provides great coverage and yet it is very fluid and easy to blend and doesn't 'cake' like other products which I have tried.
If you have yet to try out this concealer, I would urge you to pop down to your local Boots or Superdrug stores and pick up one of the four shades.
