John Lewis Beauty Haul

Natalie3 Comments
I feel as if I have been very well behaved with my pennies recently, probably just because I haven't had time to shop, but I had a little trip to John Lewis this week and stocked up on some skincare essentials. As you may have been aware from reading some of my previous posts, I have had especially troublesome skin since this summer and I have now been prescribed some new lotions and potions. The lotion that I have been given (Epiduo, if you're interested) made my skin really red and sore for the first few days of use and has also made my skin very dry. To avoid an unattractive scaly look, I have invested in some slightly higher-end skincare to give my skin some much needed TLC.

Special Edition Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish (+ 2 complimentary muslin cloths) - £19.75
There is no shortage of reviews on this Liz Earle Special Edition Cleanse and Polish so you probably know already that it is supporting the Prince's Trust by donating £2.00 from every bottle sold, and that it boasts the addition of rose and lavender to it's already wonderful formula. I have been a massive fan of Cleanse and Polish for years now and had to get my hands on this. It smells absolutely lovely and I hope that it will be extra soothing.

Origins Have A Nice Day lotion - £32.00
I have been desperate for a new moisturiser for a while now. Having sampled this lotion a couple of times, I decided to take the plunge!

Origins Never A Dull Moment exfoliator - £24.00
Ever since I first smelt this exfoliator in the Selfridges beauty hall, I knew that I had to try it. And as soon as I sampled it, I knew that I had to buy it!

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask - £20.00
I bought this product on a whim. At the time, I had only been using my prescribed skin product for a couple of days and was already feeling the drying effects of it. To be honest, I am not entirely sure what the difference between Drink Up and Drink Up Intensive is exactly in terms of how they work. I bought Drink Up Intensive as the sales assistant said that it could also be used as a quick treatment too. Like all Origins products, it smells absolutely divine and I can't wait to use it as an overnight treatment.

I'm very excited about my new purchases. Even better, my lovely Nan gave me a £25 gift voucher for my birthday which helped me buy these goodies!
