Unless you missed my posts earlier in the year (here, and here), you will know that this weekend, I am heading up north to a fitness convention, the International Fitness Showcase, and I am so excited.
As my regular gym bag is a little small to contain all of my changes of clothes and copious amounts of food to get me through cram-packed days of back-to-back fitness classes, yesterday I went in search of a new gym bag. You can check out my current one in my What's in my Gym Bag? post.
I headed straight to Sports Direct as it is on the outskirts of the city and I just didn't fancy battling through the traffic. I'm so glad I went there as I found every thing I was after, and for reasonable prices!
+ Nike Brasilia Duffle Gym Bag
I knew that I wanted something with a hint of girliness (this sexy pink certainly does the trick, right?) and I spotted this one pretty much immediately.
It is really spacious and has zip pockets on each end as well as a little zip pocket inside the main compartment.
+ Nike Pro Dri-Fit Sports Bras in Grey and Magenta
The couple of sports bras that I have at the moment (one Nike, one Sweaty Betty), are fantastic but I definitely needed to extend my collection and get some newer ones. These colours are gorgeous and I love the racer-back design.
+ Nike Dri-Fit Capri Bottoms
I have a pair similar to this already which have lasted me amazingly well considering I have become obsessed with them. Seriously, they make your bum look super peachy! They are really comfy, stretchy, cool and easy to move in.
+ Nike Flex TR2 Training Shoe
I usually have a mammoth task on my hands when I start looking for a new pair of trainers, so I can't believe that I managed to grab these! I have a really high instep and narrow feet so I find it especially hard to find training shoes which are supportive enough but these felt so perfect that I didn't want to take them off. I would never usually buy black trainers (in fact, on many occasions I have sworn my hatred for them), but I like the touch of pink on these and like I said, they were just too damn comfy to resist!
These are really lightweight and I love that they are specially designed for Training, as opposed to tennis or running for example. They have better support for multi-directional work and as I hit the gym quite often and like to mix up my classes, these are just what I needed!
I'd love to hear your thoughts on my purchases! Also, if you happen to be heading up to the IFS this weekend, give me a shout!
